Child Nutrition Program, Inc. assists us in providing nutritious meals at a discounted price (based on family income) for your child. It also helps us keep our tuition rates low. All information is kept strictly confidential.

A breakfast snack is served in the classrooms between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.

Lunch is prepared in our kitchen and is served in the classrooms between 11:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. This meal will provide one-third of the daily dietary allowances as established by the USDA, Food and Nutrition Board. The meal contains one food from the milk, meat, and grain groups and two food from the fruit/vegetable group.

Afternoon snack is served between 2 and 2:20 p.m. The snack will be in accordance with the food program’s standards.

Special Dietary Needs – If your child has special dietary need for either allergy or religious reasons, a copy of a medical statement signed by the child’s doctor must be on file. The doctor is to complete a form provided by us indicating which foods the child can or cannot eat. Please be sure to speak with your child’s teacher and the director about any special food or milk allergies. Those forms can be found on this page.

The Child Nutrition Eligibility Form

Every child attending SRA must have a Child Nutrition Eligibility application on file. This form also has to be renewed yearly. Meals are based on family income, so if you qualify (based on the chart on the back of the form), please include your household income. If you receive SNAP (food stamps), please include the number on the front of your card (if you have this, you DO NOT have to include income).
